Pan Chi Grain pattern Sapphire in Western Han Dynasty

Diameter 21.2cm, aperture 4.4cm, 0.4 cm in thickness

Unearthed in II tomb Shenju Mountain Gaoyou, Yanzhou in 1980

Sapphire, there are three circles of engravings from inside to the outside. The inner circle is grain pattern, the middle is Jomon, and the edging is a variant Pan Chi pattern. There are five crack patterns on the jade body; one fracture, a corner incomplete has been repaired.
